3D imaging allows us to take our diagnostic abilities to the next level.  Unlike 2D radiographs, CBCt allows us to see, diagnose and subsequently treat our patients with greater confidence and ability.  Plainly put, it allows us to see things potentially missed with 2D radiography.  Certain problems such as, but certainly not limited to, resorptions, fractures, sinus pathology, and missed root canal anatomy can easily and readily be identified through 3D imaging.  We will routinely incorporate this advanced form of imaging for root canal retreatment cases, surgical cases such as apicoectomy or resorption repairs , or cases of unusual anatomy to allow us to achieve the most optimal result possible for our patients.
