ROOT CANAL WITH CANAL OBSTRUCTION TOOTH #30:

CASE WAS REFERRED WITH 2 SEPARATED FILES IN THE MB CANAL.  BOTH WERE REMOVED WITH ULTRASONICS UNDER MAGNIFICATION.  CASE WAS COMPLETED AND RETURNED TO GP FOR CORONAL RESTORATION.

RETREATMENT OF TOOTH #13 WITH SEVERE LEDGE AT JUNCTION OF APICAL AND MIDDLE THIRD:

CASE WAS REFERRED WITH PERIAPICAL INFECTION DUE TO INCOMPLETE ROOT CANAL TREATMENT.  PRIOR ROOT CANAL WAS SHORT DUE TO LEDGING.  LEDGE BYPASS WAS ACCOMPLISHED INITIALLY WITH SMALL HAND FILES AND COPIOUS IRRIGATION.  CASE WAS THEN COMPLETED AND SEALED WITH A CORE BUILDUP.

ROOT CANAL TOOTH #12 AND RETREATMENT TOOTH #13:

TOOTH #12 PRESENTED WITH INTERESTING 3 ROOTED MORPHOLOGY AND TOOTH #13 WAS SYMPTOMATIC DUE TO MISSED ROOT CANAL ANATOMY.  BOTH WERE TREATED AT SAME APPOINTMENT.

RETREATMENT TOOTH #30 WITH CAST POST AND CORE:

RETREATMENT WITH REMOVAL OF CAST POST AND CORE WAS CAREFULLY PERFORMED THROUGH MINIMAL ACCESS IN EXISTING CROWN.


Root canal tooth #19 with advanced endo-perio lesion

ROOT CANAL TOOTH #19 WITH ADVANCED ENDO-PERIO LESION:

PATIENT HAD SEEN A PERIODONTIST WHO RECOMMENDED EXTRACTION AND IMPLANT.  PATIENT WAS EAGER TO TRY TO RETAIN THE TOOTH IF POSSIBLE.  SHE PRESENTED WITH PERIODONTAL BREAKDOWN AND GRADE 2 MOBILITY.  ROOT CANAL TREATMENT WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN 2 VISITS.  1 YEAR FOLLOW UP (SHOWN HERE) SHOWS SIGNIFICANT HEALING.

RETREATMENT TOOTH #19 WITH CANAL OBSTRUCTIONS (OBTURATORS):

FAILING ROOT CANAL THERAPY WITH PLASTIC OBTURATORS.  THREE PLASTIC CARRIERS WERE REMOVED AND CASE WAS COMPLETED AND SEALED WITH CORE BUILDUP.

ROOT CANAL TOOTH #30:

5 CANALS WERE FOUND AND TREATED.  PATIENT WAS REFERRED BACK TO GP FOR FINAL CORONAL RESTORATION

FRACTURED RETENTION SCREW ON EXISTING IMPLANT FIXTURE:

DAMAGED SCREW WAS REMOVED USING ULTRASONICS UNDER MAGNIFCATION.  HEALING ABUTMENT (SENT BY GP) WAS SEATED.

ROOT CANAL #30:

5 CANALS WERE LOCATED AND TREATED INCLUDING A MIDDLE MESIAL CANAL AND A RARE RADIX ENTOMOLARIS (EXTRA DL ROOT).  POST SPACE WAS PREPARED IN THE MAIN D CANAL.

ROOT CANAL #9:

PRESENTED WITH LARGE LATERAL PARL.  SUCCESFULLY INSTRUMENTED BOTH MAIN AND LATERAL CANAL.  OBTURATION REVEALS THE LATERAL CANAL EXITING TOWARDS THE LESION.

ROOT CANAL TOOTH #7 WITH FRACTURED INSTRUMENT REMOVAL:

ROOT CANAL THERAPY WAS INITIATED BY GP.  ROTARY FILE FRACTURED MID-ROOT AND CASE WAS REFERRED TO OUR OFFICE.  INSTRUMENT FRAGMENT WAS REMOVED WITH ULTRASONICS AND CASE WAS COMPLETED WITHOUT FURTHER DAMAGE TO ALL CERAMIC CROWN
